Stripe

The Stripe API with a restricted, read-only key. Declare one connection per Stripe account; a test-mode key reads test data.

What the connection reaches

  • Every v1 resource the key can read: charges, customers, invoices, subscriptions
  • Pagination with starting_after, as Stripe documents it
  • Callable from pipelines and from ontology actions

Connect Stripe

Three steps, the same for every connection. The credential goes to the platform, never into the repository or pipeline code.

  1. 1

    Declare it in connections/connections.py

    connections/connections.py
    from segmentstream.connections import StripeConnection connections = (    StripeConnection(key="stripe"),)
  2. 2

    Deploy

    $ segmentstream deploy
  3. 3

    Connect

    Paste the restricted key (Stripe Dashboard > Developers > API keys) into the connection in the console, or configure it from the terminal with a hidden prompt. API-key connections need no authorisation step: once the value is set, the connection is connected.

    $ segmentstream connection configure stripe

Use it

Code asks for the connection by its key. The platform adds the credential on the way out.

pipeline/ingestion/…
import segmentstream as s with s.get_connection("stripe").get_http_client() as client:    response = client.get("/charges", params={"limit": 100})    response.raise_for_status()

Or ask your agent

“Connect Stripe and load charges and invoices daily.”
