About SegmentStream
SegmentStream builds AI-native infrastructure for custom software. Our team has spent ten years in data, and we run our own company on what we build.
What we build
SegmentStream Cloud is infrastructure for the software a company runs on. Agents build that software from typed blocks rather than from scratch: an ontology of entities, actions and roles, connections, pipelines, an app and a company agent. The code lives in the company's own git repository, and SegmentStream runs it.
What comes out is ready for AI from the first deploy. Every entity is an API and a set of MCP tools. Roles apply the same way to people, API keys and agents. The company agent works as the member who is talking to it, with that member's permissions.
Most of what a company runs on moves onto it, one function at a time: the CRM, finance and accounting, marketing and newsletters, growth analytics, operations, projects and tasks, support and internal tools.
We run SegmentStream on SegmentStream
Our CRM, our contracts and revenue recognition, and our social listening live in one workspace, SegmentStream HQ. Agents built it on the platform in a week, from the same blocks any customer gets, and our team works in it every day. Read how we run SegmentStream on SegmentStream.
Where we come from
We started SegmentStream in 2018 as a marketing measurement company. For brands that pay for ads, we built cross-channel attribution, incrementality experiments, marginal analytics and budget allocation, and we published every method in full. That work continues as SegmentStream Marketing Analytics, our managed measurement service, with its methodology open to read.
Years of building data infrastructure for other companies taught us where company software breaks: in the seams between rented tools, in permissions set separately in each of them, and in numbers nobody can trace. Agents now write software well enough that a company no longer has to rent all of it. What they need is a structure they cannot get wrong. That is what SegmentStream Cloud gives them.
What we hold to
Owned, not rented.
The code is the company's, in its own repository. It can clone it with plain git, read every change as a commit, and leave with it any day.
Blocks, not improvisation.
An agent assembles a workspace from typed blocks with descriptions it can read and checks that refuse what does not fit. The structure is predictable, and the next agent understands it.
Roles, not tokens.
Every person, API key and agent works through roles defined once in the ontology. Nobody gets a shared key that sees everything.
No black boxes.
We published every measurement method in full for years, and we hold Cloud to the same standard: the code, the rules and the numbers are there to read.
Where to go from here
